Functions
Admitting qualified law graduates to the roll of advocates and maintaining the official register of enrolled practitioners.
Investigating professional misconduct complaints and enforcing the Canons of Professional Conduct and Etiquette.
Administering welfare funds, health insurance, and financial assistance programs for advocates and their dependents.
Setting standards for legal education and organizing continuing professional development programs.
Facilitating free legal aid and representation for indigent litigants through affiliated bar associations.
Representing the interests of the legal profession before the judiciary, government, and the Pakistan Bar Council.
Statutory Framework
These functions form part of the statutory mandate of the
Balochistan Bar Council and are exercised in accordance
with the applicable laws, rules and regulations governing
the legal profession.
